Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. The money she earned came from a student allowance and took on part-time employment to augment her budget. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance compared to that of her classmates. She began considering other options. Lennox began her career as musician within the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest.
